The EduShoots are where the REAL learning begins!
The Edushoots (formerly “workshop”) was created for the simple reason: TEACH PHOTOGRAPHY!! We have noticed over the past year or so, EVERYONE is doing a “workshop” at these “workshops” there is no instruction going on, just people shooting models. We wanted to get away from that and establish the fact that at our workshops, there’s actual EDUCATION HAPPENING! Why is this you ask? Simple; Most of the photographers putting on these workshops, aren’t very good at photography themselves!! They see this as a way to make extra money in this economy. This is something that bothers us, as we feel people who are teaching, should be qualified to do so. The problem with photography is there isn’t currently, nor will there ever be, a professional governing board. Anyone with a camera can do it.
The EduShoots are designed to teach you photography. Teach you things that WORKING photographers use everyday, to earn their living. To teach you HOW to get into those magazines, how to get those paying clients how to have CONFIDENCE to get these different things. You won’t learn that at any other workshop in the state. How do we know? We’ve attended most of them!
How can you be sure to not fall victim to one of these workshop scams? Look at the photos of the photographers that are putting on these workshops. Is their work exemplary of the work you want to do? Are they consistent with the style of photography? Meaning, do they have the same quality of light, posing and post processing across every image? Did you know, a large percentage of photographers in Colorado giving workshops, have attended a few Colorado SuperShoot workshops?
The purpose of the EduShoot is to teach you how to get amazing images time after time.
Edushoots focuses on the following:
Model/photographer interaction
Lighting the model using a barrage of lighting techniques and modifiers
Getting great images of a model
Editing photos of the model
By learning these techniques, we can assure you that you will not only leave with a greater understanding of photography, but a new apprecieation for the Art of Photography.
